New land acquired in Castle Douglas
We are delighted to have secured the purchase of land on Church Street where Corson's Bakery used to be located.
As the business has grown it was becoming apparent that we were fast outgrowing our current site on Cotton Street and being surrounded we had no room to expand. The Church Street site offered an ideal opportunity as it is right across the road meaning we wouldn't need to spend time operating between two sites and we can still base the main part of the business at Cotton Street.
Mainly it will be used for storage, once work is complete on a customer's vehicle we can store it securely across the road until they can pick it up and it's convenient being just 50 yards across the road. We will also use the area to store cars that may be in for longer term repairs or with parts on back order. This will free up space at our main site to keep more sales vehicles and to carry a wider range of stock. We'll also be able to use the area as a preparation centre for our sales cars when they come and utilise the building that is already on site.
It's exciting times but none of it would be possible without our loyal customers who have continued to support Robertson Gemini since we took over.
Thank you, Ashley and Stephen.
